Ziina’s mission is to bring financial freedom to every person in the Middle East. We are building MENA’s consumer and SMB financial platform, starting with a peer-to-peer and merchant wallet. Our team has experience from Apple, Uber, Stripe, Klarna, Revolut, Yandex, and Nubank. Ziina’s payment volumes have grown by 10x YoY for the last two years. The team have built a product that is beloved in the UAE with a 4.7 star rating in the app store and is the recipient of 8 international design awards, including the Red Dot Award and the UX Design Award.

Our last round was a $21 million Series A from top-tier investors globally including Altos Ventures, Fintech Collective, Activant, Long Journey Ventures and Y Combinator. Our angel investors include early employees and executives at Revolut, Stripe, Venmo, Brex, Checkout.com, Notion, and Deel.

The Role

As a fintech startup at the forefront of payments innovation, we are searching for an experienced and dynamic Head of Marketing to lead our strategic growth initiatives. This includes brand awareness, customer acquisition, product marketing, and revenue growth.

This role is ideal for a data-driven, creative leader who can develop and execute impactful marketing strategies while inspiring a high-performing team. We are seeking a versatile marketing leader with a full-stack background, combining creative flair with analytical acumen to position Ziina as the go-to payments solution in the region. The ideal candidate should have a track record of success in both startup environments and established organizations.

This is simultaneously a hands-on role while leading a phenomenal team of passionate high performers. We expect our leaders to lead by example by rolling their sleeves up and diving into the details including how every pixel aligns on the latest ad.
